What is Foodtogether?

Foodtogether is a social enterprise that has Co-ops and Pop-ups in multiple towns and cities across Aotearoa. Foodtogether partners with dozens of different NGOs, churches, community organisations and schools, to help them feed their communities in a sustainable and accessible way.  Foodtogether’s mission is to connect communities around healthy food, create jobs, equip and empower local collectives and make fresh food more affordable and accessible for all.

Food Together offers a variety of fruit and vegetable packs to local customers, offering great value for money. Food Together boxes are ordered online, the produce is delivered weekly to a hub, local to you.  The produce is 25% – 30% cheaper than if purchased at supermarkets. The boxes are filled with a selection of fresh, seasonal produce. They come in sizes include $20 for 1-2 people, $30 for 2-3 people and $40.00 for 3-4 people. The orders and payments get done directly through the Food Together website, and then the produce is delivered to the community hubs for collection.

Money Matas have signed up to become a Food Together hub and we are excited to bring this service to Matamata.   

Our first order date will close on Tuesday 23 July for collection on Thursday 25 July.
