How much does it cost?

All of our services are completely free.

What do we need to bring?

Bring as much information as possible regarding your finances. This includes wage slips; benefit breakdown; bank statement; letters from creditors; mortgage/rent details; household bills; information regarding court fines.

I am not available when your office is open?

No problem. Appointments can be made after hours.

I am embarrassed to get help?

The service is confidential. Your needs and independence are respected. Our team are here to help you, not judge you!

I do not know where to start with any of my financial problems?

Coming to see us is a good place to start. We can help organise the problems and come up with a suitable way forward.

What to do first?

Ring or pop in to our office to make an appointment.

What if I change my mind?

It is your choice, if you change your mind just let us know and we will close your file.

I cannot get to your office?

Telephone us and we will see what can be arranged.

People will think I am poor if I go to Budget Advice?

We deal with a wide range of clients and a wide range of incomes. If you want to get your finances on track and achieve the best results with your money, it means you are smart not necessarily poor!

I would like someone to train my employees or community group?

Just give us a call and we can discuss topics and types of presentations we offer. Let us know your requirements and we can come up with something suitable for the audience. Again, this service is completely free!

What if I feel it is not for me?

There is no pressure to come back after your initial meeting, it is your choice.

Can I bring a support person?

Yes you are welcome to bring anyone else with you for support.

I already have a budget so what can the service offer me?

We can give a second opinion on your budget and possibly come up with some extra ways to make it more effective.

I know I do not have enough money to cover all my bills and debts?

We can look at both your income and expenditure. We may be able to increase what money you have coming in and/or look at ways of reducing your bills and debts.
